Routine Fertility Visits

Regular visits can be arranged to carry out fertility work in 2 or 4 week intervals to suit you and your farm’s needs. The visits are aimed to increase the herd’s productivity and consequently your profitability. Scanning and manual palpation techniques are used to diagnose pregnancy and ovulatory status, to detect barren or non cycling cows, metritis and other medical problems post calving. The appropriate therapeutic drugs can then be used accurately and effectively. We can also use computer programs such as Interherd along with NMR records and HerdCompanion to allow easier management and the earlier detection of problems.

If you would like further information about our fertility work or pre-breeding assessments or to book a farm visit then please telephone 01291 672637.
